Perfectly Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze

This simple yet flavorful recipe takes Brussels sprouts to the next level! Start by steaming and sautéing for a tender-crisp texture, then roast to golden perfection. Tossed with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper, these sprouts are a versatile side dish. Great for weeknight dinners or holiday gatherings!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Steam: Steam Brussels sprouts for 3–5 minutes until slightly tender. Pat dry.

  2. Sauté: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add  salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar. Sauté sprouts for 3 minutes. 

  3. Roast: Place the skillet with the Brussels sprouts directly into the oven and roast at 400°F for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through for even browning.

  4. Serve: Serve warm as a side dish or enjoy on their own.

Optional: Top with feta, pomegranate seeds or parmesan, or a drizzle of honey!
