Kale Chips

Homemade kale chips are satisfying and crave-worthy. Tahini adds a creamy texture, and nutritional yeast makes it mouth-watering cheesiness that makes you subconsciously reach for more.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large bunch of kale, inner ribs removed

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 4 tablespoons tahini

  • 2 teaspoons nutritional yeast

  • 1 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes

  • ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 200 degrees.

  2. In a small bowl, combine tahini, olive oil, lime juice, nutritional yeast, red pepper, and salt - whisk well.

  3. Line a pan with parchment paper. Add kale, then pour the tahini mixture over it. Coat each piece using your hands (yes, it's messy but quite effective).

  4. Spread kale in a single layer and place in the oven for 45-60 mins (check every 20 mins).

  5. Remove from the oven when the seasonings are completely dry and the kale is crisp.

Store in an airtight container at room temp!
